CADTraining
One of my main weapons that I believe helps me land clients is my ability to train using CAD. My background as an adjunct instructor teaching AutoCad, Solid Edge, & SolidWorks goes back for going on 7 years now. I have taught and brought up many students from young to old and watch them further their careers in this field. There is no one I cannot teach, from the novice to the seasoned veteran, there is something probably up my sleeve that I can teach you in CAD.
“Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow.” – Ronald E. Osborn
Not only have I trained students at the local community college, I have trained entire teams of Engineers, Drafters, and Designers for multiple companies. Whatever your need may need, I can meet it.
SolidWorks from Dassault Systemes is one of the most widely used 3D CAD platforms on the market. It's ease of use and tremendous support network make it a great choice for start-ups and companies making the switch to 3D CAD. Here at Scott Lester Drafting & Design, I use the latest techniques and training aids to prepare you for real world applications. I can prepare you to take the various SolidWorks Certifications to beef up your resume!
If your company is making the switch in CAD programs (say from Inventor to SolidWorks), then we can prepare you to take your 3D CAD knowledge and apply it to the new program; most CAD packages are very similar. I will make the transition as smooth as possible also while providing 24/7 support through the changeover.
Solid Edge is my forte. I absolutely love Solid Edge from Siemens, PLM. I learned both Solid Works & Solid Edge in college and for some reason always tend to flow towards Solid Edge for it's ease of modeling and superb drafting environment. I helped train an entire team of engineers and drafters who were accustomed to SolidWorks to become self sufficient in Solid Edge!
Solid Edge too is a very powerful 3D CAD program offering just about everything SolidWorks does and more. Solid Edge features the traditional "history-based" modeling approach; however, it has Synchronous Technology. Synchronous Technology is basically a direct modeler without the need for most history based features and sketches. Its uses a steering wheel that you can place on various edges, faces, or features and directly manipulate them.
I can also prepare you for the Solid Edge Certification program to beef up your resume!
Each training scenario is different, so there is not a set price for training. Depending on the experience, type of training needed, and or site of training will determine how the pricing is structured. Please contact me for your custom quote today!
